rant

ok. im going to have a little rant. stupid sound system. cant plug a cd player into the main mix cos there arent enough channels and im not alloed to pull the sound desk apart to rewire it sob. im going to see if i can rewire the speakers so that they take input from the main mix and from the tape in(which is on a different output). im still not happy with that arrangement cos it means that someone has to push a button which means they have the amp box open so they are likely to fiddle. i know its not my church but i still feel responsible for some of the stuff cos i helped put it all in. so i know how it works. they dont even believe that cos i was there when the majority of it was done, i know more about how to deal with it if it goes wrong. theres also the common conception at that church that they should get a cheap contractor to come in to do something simple like hang a door, or nail a roof tile back to the ceiling. they refuse to believe that either me or my mum or a group effort could do it for free and probably get a better job done for it. moan groan. going in tomorrow to hang a door. and probably turn the light in the kitchen round too. woo for diy sos dale style
